Finding Incomplete Payment Entries

If you are posting a payment and get a message that it has been entered previously by X username on X date, you most likely have come across a payment that has been entered but the balance was not updated.  

To correct this:

  • Go to Payments Received and Adjustments. Instead of clicking on "Enter New Item", you’re going to view payments already entered.
  • Move the Beginning Date back to the first date you were doing payment entries. When you do this, you should see a long list of postings. 
  • If they have a Green check they are finished and posted. 
  • If they have a Red stop they are not finished or posted yet. 
  • You can click on the BLUE posted date to see the payment and complete it.
